Happy Earth Day everyone! This post is going to be just a few random things.
First: Remember to do your part to go “green”. The little simple things count like turning off the lights when you leave a room, turning off the water when brushing your teeth, or recycling a water bottle. Do your part to help mother earth. Also it might be a nice idea to get the family involved in an annual earth day activity like planting a tree every earth day. It’s a nice way to get the whole family involved while helping the earth.
Second: I saw this really neat video on youtube. It goes with what I talked about the other day and true beauty. It starts off with an average looking girl and it shows the transformation to what she looks like in the end. It really reminded me what you see on TV and in the magazines isn’t what those girls really look like and by trying to look like them we are striving for something that doesn’t exist. The company I work for is considered a green company. They have light that turn off when no one is in the room and sometimes when you are they shut off. We recycle all the cardboard. They encouraged everybody to change their lightbulbs at home to the new twisty type which use less energy and produce more light then normal. They even had a contest if we changed lightbulb we could win gift certificates. GO GREEN
Your inner beauty is more important then your outer beauty but I was told it doesn't hurt to put a little paint on the barn. In other words a little makeup never hurt.
