We will never be able to forget

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the Virginia Tech shooting. April 16, 2007 was a terrible tragic day in which 33 people were killed including the gunman on the campus of Virginia Tech University. This was one of the deadliest shooting rampages in the United State’s history. Many people sat glued to the T.V. to watch as the number of casualties kept going up. People gathered in prayer hoping for the best. This tragic event was mourned all over the country. Yesterday many Americans said a prayer remembering those who died and dressed in Virginia Tech’s colors to show respect and remembrance.
April 17, 2008 was a day Americans will never be able to forget. If you have a friend or a loved one who you believe might be dangerous, please contact a professional. It’s important we all do our part to make sure an event like the Virginia Tech shooting never happens again.

I agree that its also our responsiblity to help a friend who might have a problem. We need to pay attention and listen closely. Most of the time, the people who commit these terrible acts are loners but some have a few friends.
